1 cup butter
1 pkg cream cheese (8 oz)
1 cup sugar
cream together
1/2 tsp salt
1 large egg yolk (I just dropped the whole egg in, the second time I just used a medium egg, the first I just added a little extra flour)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
bake at 375 for 12-18 minutes ( I did closer to the 12 — I think it depends on your cookie size, oven and desired crispness, we like ours soft)
