{"id":444,"date":"2010-02-21T21:08:56","date_gmt":"2010-02-21T21:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/recipes.morgeneggweb.com\/?p=444"},"modified":"2010-02-21T21:08:56","modified_gmt":"2010-02-21T21:08:56","slug":"innsbrook-bread-pudding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.morgeneggweb.com\/?p=444","title":{"rendered":"Innsbrook Bread Pudding"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>6-8 large croissants<\/li>\n<li>4-5 muffins (any flavor)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>3 cups sliced peaches (canned are fine)<\/li>\n<li>3 cups heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 Tablespoons vanilla<\/li>\n<li>8 ounces mascarpone cheese (this is very similar to ricotta cheese but more creamy like cream cheese, it is an italian cheese so not sure of the substitution)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.<br \/>\nIn a medium pan, whisk together the heavy cream, sugar and vanilla.\u00a0 When very warm, add a small amount to the beaten eggs and then pour the eggs into the pan, stir in the cheese and cook until warmed through.\u00a0 Cut us croissants and muffins and mix together.\u00a0 Stir in slice peaches (I actually cut the peaches into smaller pieces to mix them in fully) and chocolate.\u00a0 Pour the custard over the croissants and allow to soak for 10 minutes, pressing down gently.<br \/>\nBake for 45 minutes until the pudding puffs up and the custard is set. Remove from the oven and cool slightly.
